Description:
- Safeguard and improve existing network infrastructure performance, improve data performance, monitor and troubleshoot network systems. This position requires experience in managing Geo distributed network devices, with different network devices models.
Responsibilities:
- Develop networking environment through designing system configurations, performing system installations, documenting and complying with global system standards.
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
- Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
- Reporting network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information as well as managing cross geography projects.
- Setup and maintain network infrastructure health checks, proactively take actions to minimize downtime and performance issues.
- Manage and prioritize multiple assigned tasks to meet established deadlines.
- Plan and execute network expansions to meet the business demand.
- Manage secure and efficient network connections across network setup, using on premise and cloud infrastructure.
- Implementing and managing Microtech Daylight Cloud INFINITY software.
- Applying Domain Group policy to manage, control and audit all computers in different sites and user configuration authority, permission and rights accesses.
- Managing, maintaining and updating website in coordination with customer service department.
- Create and configure bi-weekly backups for all server application and critical data with schedule job tasks. In addition to all employees hard-disk bi-weekly backups.
- Punctual and regular of Software License, domains & FortiGate.
- Achieving KPI’s target in due date.
- Prepare the reports requested by the Executive Director.
- Establish the annual estimated IT budget.
- Develop Yearly budget by end of Q3 for all IT, Software, Hardware procurements as per the association procurement rules
- Provide procedures and reports to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
Job Requirements
- Thorough experience Not less than 9 years in networking field.
- Network Design and Implementation using multi-vendor devices (cisco, Forti , etc.).
- Windows Server 2016, DNS, DHCP, Switching, Routing Protocols, troubleshooting WIFI issues, Firewall, VPN IPsec
- Experience in configuring and maintaining firewall policies and IPsec tunnels.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently, and within a global team.
- Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's Oracle database.
- Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes.
- Resolves Microtech Daylight Cloud INFINITY database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues
- Good managerial skills, Very Good English Language, Time Management Skills, Reporting Skills, Analysis Skills.
- Education: Bachelor of Computer Science.
- Experience: from 6 to 9 years’ experience as Network Administrator.
- Work Nature in 3 different locations.
- Preferred to be Giza Residence.
