Job Description
Head of Operations is responsible for organizing a well-coordinated, high-quality, fast and efficient process of serving FAWRY Microfinance customers in terms of loan disbursements, account transactions support and repayments.
Main responsibilities and tasks
- Organizing of Credit Administration and Operational Support Units with all responsibilities related to staff management, process organization, control and reporting
- Organizing and maintaining a smooth and fast customer service process in terms of:
- Customer registration in Loan Tracking System;
- Verification of customer compliance with internal requirements and procedures;
- Preparation of loan contracts and organization of signing process;
- Opening accounts and their activation;
- Loans disbursement and subsequent repayments through the FAWRY Point of Sales terminal’s network.
- Customer’s documents and contracts storage and archiving.
- Development and implementation of cash-out and cash-in solutions for Fawry Microfinance customers
- Creation, adjustment and maintenance of processes, procedures and policies related to credit operations, including the standard operating procedure (SOP)
- Review of quality performance indicators and control of compliance of credit operations with internal processes and procedures
- Ensuring business continuity in case of interruptions in operational processes
- Organization of high-quality interaction with external service providers, as well as streamlined cooperation between internal units and departments
- Supervision of credit operations and achieving operational targets
- Selecting, effective management and training of credit administrators and operational managers
Job Requirements
- University degree in economics / banking / finance / accounting
- Banking or Micro finance experience in compliance / operations / creation and organization of back-office units (not less than 2 years)
- Good leadership, organizational and managerial skills
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective process-flows
- Good spoken English level
- Proficiency in using MS Office products (Word, Excel)
