Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Collecting, analyzing and preserving data in a cost accounting system
- Formulating and constantly revising cost-accounting system
- Coordinating physical inventory counts inventory
- Investigating, reporting and resolving price and usage variances
- Reviewing standard and actual costs for variances
- Monitoring standard costs and BOMs
- Accumulating and applying OH costs
- Pricing the finished products
- Costing and documenting of customer returns
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree of accounting from a reputable university
- Post grad studies in Cost-Accounting (Certifications, training, diplomas ect.)- is preferable
- Minimum of three years experience as a Cost Accountant in the manufacturing industry preferably in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food products etc. (FMCGs)
- Technical skills:
- Financial reporting and analysis.
- Inventory accounting
