Job Description

  • Lead the project technical scope and negotiation with internal departments to agree details .
  • Lead cross functional coordination and collaboration to complete projects efficiently with safety, profitability and quality (Financial Budget , technical competencies , quality and HSE objectives)
  • Coordinate design site Ensure site visit checklist is complete and all aspects of design, installation and project expectations are evaluated.
  • Ensure system design is reviewed for completeness and all necessary materials specified.
  • Coordinate with electric utility and other permitting agencies as necessary. Ensure permits will be obtained as needed.
  • Verify materials are specified and ordered for delivery in time for scheduled installation.
  • Ensure that it is verified that materials received meet all specs and requirements.
  • Hold commercial project meetings with all stakeholders at least every two weeks. Document and track project status and actions.
  • Attend weekly project scheduling meeting in each region where projects are active or pending.
  • Update and review Project Management software with project status.
  • Ensure Field Folder complete and up to date.
  • Ensure progress payments timely and accurate and all contractual requirements are met.
  • Improve project deployment process to increase quality and efficiency with collaboration and agreement of all stakeholders.
  • Responsible for proactive client communications throughout the project after the final design is approved.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors including roofers, builders, ground work, concrete etc.
  • Administer contract with customer and subcontractors. Ensure all aspects of contracts are complied with.
  • Coordinate with Field Manager for installer staffing.
  • Act as point of contact to communicate installation problems.
  • Communicate with the Management for any project information that affects scope and price.
  • Ensure that disconnections and reconnects are scheduled with the Utility, inspectors and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that inspections are scheduled and staffed.
  • Meets maintenance financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintains function and reliability of production systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
  • Defines maintenance policies and processes that drive maximum efficiency of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. Develops and implements life cycle management procedures for all new and existing equipment.
  • Coordinate shipping with factory and freight forwarders, by ship and/or common carriers. Manage and if possible improve the profitability and cash flow of the project.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degrees in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 8-10 years of experience preferred in calcium carbonate or cement industry
  • Excellent Contractors/service providers-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent technical skills (civil , electrical , mechanical )
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • PMP
