ABOUT THE ROLE

Careem PAY is looking for a rock star Partnerships Manager who is part product manager, part marketer, part growth hacker and part data scientist. This individual will laser focus only on one goal: driving commercial partnerships for the Consumer business that tie in with our growth ambitions. The main role of the Partnerships Manager is to identify and lock key partnerships for Careem PAY consumer business across the region, that bring desired results both in terms of growth as well as business performance. The individual must have a hustler-like personality, not believing in limits and always striving to achieve the unreasonable. This is a role that requires you to dream big for attaining growth, and then make those dreams a reality

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive partnerships plan in-line with Careem PAY roll-out strategy
  • Lead and champion the growth of Careem PAY through material and meaningful partnerships
  • Work with cross functional teams across the region to leverage and execute key partnerships
  • Conceive, plan and execute various growth campaigns associated with partners
  • Continuously A/B test different ideas for growth through partnerships
  • Drive massive upticks in user acquisition, activation and retention
  • Regularly monitor goals vs. performance
  • Working closely with Careem PAY Product & Technology teams
  • Work independently and drive high user conversions to Careem PAY
  • Own the partnerships budget for Careem PAY

Job Requirements

  • You have 3-5 years of work experience and have a degree from an accredited university
  • Be passionate about digital financial services and the fintech space
  • Strong people management skills, must be a great team player
  • Has the ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
  • Preferably have a strong commercial and/or growth-related role experience
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a tech startup company
  • Digital marketing and/or product experience
  • Very strong with numbers: Clear understanding of data, analytics, metrics and statistics
  • Should be able to use SQL, Tableau (nice to have), Hive (nice to have)
  • A/B testing and data analytics experience
  • Extremely curious to learn
  • Experience in CRM and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Braze, Optimizely is a plus
