Job Description
- Working with product team and build user-friendly interfaces based on functional specifications.
- Create and revise information architecture documents and diagrams including but not limited to: content diagrams, content maps, wire-frame diagrams, comprehensive diagrams and static prototypes.
- Performing competitive analysis and research for projects.
- Participating in key internal meetings including daily status updates and planning sessions.
- Conduct & Facilitate requirements, design, and implementation reviews
- Working with project teams to complete the information architecture and interface development processes for new production projects including site map, wire-frame layout and slicing
- Researching and analyzing industry UX/UI trends and competitor sites and strategies
- Review user adoption of deliverable and acceptance testing
- Ensure all versions of project UX/UI documents are complete, current, and stored/ archived appropriately
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Applied Arts or Computer Science or related.
- Extensive experience in UI design, ideally for desktop web applications and mobile apps (tablets and phones).
- Expertise in standard UX & design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, Zeplin, etc.
- Strong UI/UX design skills and understanding.
- Solid understanding of current trends and UI design patterns.
- Extensive experience using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
- Basic understanding of front-end languages (HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript) and code libraries to support collaboration with developers.
