Job Description
- Determining clients’ needs and suggesting suitable travel packages
- Make and confirm all travel arrangements, including hotel room accommodations and plane tickets.
- Counsel clients on their various travel choices and explain the differences between available options.
- Maintain client relationships and solve the problem.
- Monitor airline flights while clients are en route to stay apprised of delays and any other problems.
- Supply travellers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday material (guides, maps, event programs etc).
Job Requirements
- Excellent English is a must.
- Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism Business or relevant field.
- Sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven working experience as a travel consultant
- Excellent knowledge of travelling software.
- Experience in Honeymoon packages.
- Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively.
- Problem-solving.
- Knowledge of world geography.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented to successfully manage travel plans and schedules.
- Good computer and internet skills to work with various web applications, make online travel bookings, and conduct research.
