Job Description
- Troubleshoots application issues, creates user manuals and conducts upgrades and training
- Dimensions database management and configurations
- Review work of team members as related to verification of builds, scripts, installation procedures, source code control, and issue tracking
- Serve as the main point of contact top level contributor/specialist for all activities performed by the Process and Technical Team, including configuration management, records management, software process improvement, technical writing, web engineering, and application operations and maintenance
- Responsible for assigning, monitoring, and reporting on task assignments across the team while also performing hands-on technical activities
- Track releases to process compliance and recommend best practices for automated tool implementation, usage, and practices
- Creation, documentation, maintenance, and application of standard operating procedures for the team
- Provides consultation on complex projects
- Training users, addressing new or changed business needs of the tool, and following agile and waterfall methodologies
- Conducting and observing builds, understanding how the build is conducted, and reporting results
- Responsible for application configuration management, including administration of users, features, interfaces, reports, and workflows within the suite of tools within the environment, with particular focus on MicroFocus
- Collect requirements from customer for enhancements to workflows and RM sachems, access control and reporting
- Establish knowledge base for Dimensions & Deployment Automation
- Conduct regular audits and ensure all findings are addressed
Job Requirements
- At least two (3) years of experience in the technical administration of Dimensions
- At least four (2) years of hand-on experience with the software development life cycle as an analyst, developer, and/or tester
- At least two (3) years of experience in a lead role for a technical team responsible for configuration management and/or application operations of MICROFOCUS
- Must have knowledge of commonly-used IT concepts, methodologies, best practices, and procedures for software development and process management
- Experience with server administration
- Familiarity with SDA database setup and maintenance
- Familiar with plug-ins
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent English language skills
- Banking Business Experience will be an asset
