Job Description
- Hands on in the SAN storage would be added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience along with Servers (AIX/LINUX/Windows), ESX servers and networking.
- AIX Server administration experience is a PLUS
- Experience in managing customer requirements and escalations.
- Experience in zoning using Brocade /Cisco, storage provisioning, Troubleshooting and configuration
- Should have knowledge on decommissioning servers from storage side.
- Configuring the Storage and SAN
- LUN Configuration and management for Servers (AIX/LINUX/Windows/ESX )
- Firmware upgrade on both storage and San Fabric.
- Migrations storage side.
- DR testing and taking ownership during such DR cycles.
- Exposure on Fiber channel and Iscsi storage
- Analytical and Communication skills.
- Planning and Co-ordination skills. This role requires to be a team player and not an individual contributor.
- Candidate would be required to have regular knowledge sharing, co-ordination and grooming offshore team members.
- Managing and monitoring the day to day Critical Incidents on SAN storage.
- Troubleshooting SAN storage related Incidents and coordinating with vendor to resolve the issue within specified SLA’s
- Root cause analysis.
- 24x7 support for all major / critical incidents
- Work assigned from time to time by the Cluster Lead.
- Any IBM Certification would be added advantage.
- Any experience in managing any of backup tools (Netbackup, TSM) would be added advantage.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in managing Infra projects with IBM Storage (XIV, V7000).
- At least 3 years of Experience in administration SAN storage Environment
- 3 Years of hands on experience to manage storage replication and disaster recovery.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent English language skills
- Banking Business Experience will be an asset
