Job Description
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues.
- Manage the configuration and operation of servers’ operating systems.
- Monitor the systems on daily basis and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
- Manage continuous integration tools and handle deployments on production environments.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages.
- Install and configure software and hardware.
- Set up accounts and workstations and active directory administration.
- Create and verify backups of data.
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes.
- Review application logs.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Experience with VPNs creation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms especially windows servers 2012 and above.
- Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Experience with Cisco ASA firewall is a plus.
- Knowledge of Octopus Deploy and Team City is a plus.
