Job Description
- Operate precise laboratory Environmental Engineering unit operation systems such as Activated sludge system pilot plant, Water treatment pilot plant, RO pilot plant, Gas Absorption, ect.
- Record data readings, utilize pilot plant data/control systems, and observe process conditions on a continual basis to maintain good control of the unit.
- Responsible for placing systems in a safe condition for maintenance work.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
- The candidate shall has the basic maintenance work like assembling and de-assembling of pumps, valves, reactors, tubing, etc.
- Monitors and controls run parameters such as flow, pressure and temperature and other parameters to ensure proper working of the unit.
- Prepare Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each pilot plant.
- Coordinate work in the laboratory to ensure efficient use is made of expensive pieces of equipment.
- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are understood and followed correctly
- Lab equipment information management and archiving, suppliers and catalogues to assure easy access when requested.
- Ensure that all pilot plants is properly cleaned and in order for function at any time.
- Perform financial & asset management of lap equipment.
- Develop Lab equipment Maintenance program of the lab and its facilities via in house or via service-contracts;
- Plan lab budget
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics.
- 2 years’ experience in similar works.
- Evidence of experience providing lab safety training
- Familiar with the sophisticated analytical apparatus such as GC/MS, TOC, and Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS).
