Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Build digital applications development strategy.
- Working with business and technical teams to evaluate and select technical solutions
- Assess, design and build end user and enterprise internal mobile solutions
- Lead the technical digital application development team
- Ensure the digital application development best practices are applied
- Ensure the quality of the products
- Ensure the code quality and standards
- Investigate and select the most suitable digital application development platforms and tools
- Continuous improvement and enhancement for all the team activities and processes
- On time and weekly reporting all the projects to ensure achieving the targets which complied with the required KPIs.
- Work on recruiting high caliber team members and ensure continuity plan for the team.
- Select, communicate and negotiate effectively with the vendors to ensure a win-win situation and successful accomplishments of tasks considering cost optimization and quality standards.
- Ensure & facilitate the development and maintenance of efficient delivery mobile applications following start of the art best practices, standards and procedures.
- Empower the business with innovative solutions & technologies to help in achieving Etisalat strategic objectives
Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- University Degree in computer science or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience on web development and/or mobile apps
- 3+ years of experience managing a team of mobile application development using different technologies.
- Mastering one or more Mobile development technologies (Objective C, Swift, Android, Kotlin, Kotlin Native, flutter, react native…etc)
- Ability to build the right system architecture and optimize/transform the existing one using the start of art architecture and design and design patterns methodologies with a proven 3+ experience doing similar role.
- Mastering the implementation of the different mobility capabilities like but not limited to (deep linking, indexing, personalization, air deployment, remote configuration, notification, attribution, user acquisition, retention and engagement techniques)
- Excellent experience in mobile security (certificate pinning, obfuscation, session management…etc)
- Excellent business and technical analytic skills
- Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the industry
- Excellent in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in Telecom self-service portal and Mobil development and operation
- Experience in different telecom digital adjacent apps like video, music, sports, games apps.
- Experience in Oracle Web logic and Oracle Web Center
- Experience in using digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Firebase, BigQuery, Dynatrace, Ux analytics tools)
- Excellent Computer skills, Advanced MS Excel.
