Job Description
- Sets corporate HSE Vision, Mission & Strategy according to the Group HSE situation.
- Designs corporate HSE management system & reporting system.
- Applies behavioral programs to develop the entire organization safety behavior.
- Develops corporate HSE policies, standards and procedures.
- Grows and fosters group safety culture and partners with all internal stakeholders to ensure a safe workplace.
- Works with top management to drive awareness and accountability for environmental, health and safety performance through all levels of the organization.
- Makes regular field site visits to support safe work practices and develop safeguards.
- Provides support to Managers helping them build and maintain awareness of developing environmental, health & safety issues and adoption of best practices.
- Studies in deep the layouts and processes which may cause harms and it is a source of risks.
- Ensures HSE Compliance in all sites according to the corporate HSE standards.
- Develops accident-prevention and lost mitigation programs for incorporation into the operational policies of the organization, including work site safety practices and fire prevention.
- Leads regular safety meetings with the plant Safety managers to review HSE performance and policies. Follows-up and verifies completion of action items.
- Assists in the development of appropriate and effective health & safety training for workers, employees and management team members to enhance environmental, health & safety professionalism.
- Develops implements and maintains environmental, health & safety leadership and awareness skills among Managers to support compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Provides technical and regulatory compliance expertise and support throughout the organization.
- Assists in the implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the incident and ensures “lessons learned” are communicated throughout the Group and are incorporated into the program, if necessary.
Job Requirements
- Experience in HSE +15 years.
- Experience in managing multi-projects/plants.
- Experience in manufacturing & construction.
