Job Description
- Share in the initial assessment of each hospital and follow up assessments against the standards
- Follow up with the hospital quality teams their annual quality plan and guide to solve any challenges
- Guide and assist in development, revision and adjustment of policies: confirm that the P&P match with the process of service and also covers standards needs
- Development/Revision of forms of medical records, any additional log forms
- Share in the Staff training on the adjusted policies and medical file forms : training is in the form of lectures on job training
- Continuous auditing and tracing to ensure accurate implementation and repeat on job training as needed
- Share in hospitals staff training for improving the quality and safety culture
- Manage and develop quality related committees and attend the committees’ meetings during their visits
- Follow up the improvement projects and FMEA project
- Assist the hospital quality teams in any challenging task
- Develop Risk management program annually (proactive, reactive)
- Report regularly all activities to the corporate quality director
Job Requirements
- University education in pharmacy, medicine or other health related field.
- Master’s Degree in any of the above fields.
- Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
- 5 years of experience in hospital quality, patient safety and risk management.
- 2 years as a director of quality department in a general hospital
- Specialized training in any of the above fields or specialties
