Job Description
- Following up & arranging required shipping documents for clearance
- Coordinating & follow up transportation operation for cleared material from dispatch to arrival
- Coordinating with supplier’s logistics for local Import products & coordinate connecting them with Free zone custom clearing agents for complete processing on cargo formalizes till entering free zone
- Follow up, revise & archive issued storage permissions from customs for local & foreign imported products
- Presentation & inspection of received commodities with technical colleagues comparing with PO & delivery invoice before received by the WH
- Follow up & updating MRN & GRN with the warehouse & procurement after sound receiving
- Follow & supervise the Materials internal delivery & release process and procedures
- Prepare invoices to be sent to the customer
- Request freight quotes
- Calculate shipping/handling charges based on products ordered
- Issue POs and send to supplier
- Communicate order updates to customers (product availability and estimated delivery dates)
- Schedule shipments based on customer needs and supplier conditions
- Determine and prepare/obtain the shipping documents needed
- Schedule shipments based on customer needs and supplier conditions
- Communicate shipping instructions to freight forwarder
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments
- Any other tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors’ degree
- Work experience minimum: 2-3 years
Additional Qualifications:
- Good in written and verbal English; knowledge of Arabic language desirable
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge in stock taking and warehouse inventory.
