Job Description
- Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
- Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, project implementation methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
- Analyzing actual production costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures.
- Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.
- Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
- Control physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
- Reconciles finished goods inventories.
- Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system
- Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
- Ensure significant inventory discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
- Prepare Audit Requirements as per its Request on Quarterly Basis and annual Year.
- Meeting the monthly closing deadline with all necessary reports.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting.
- Preferable have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills.
- Computer Literate - Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in FMCG industry is a plus.
