Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day accounting operation
  • Manage and prepare salaries, commission and gratuity payments and account and clients bank account
  • Monthly reporting of financial information to the regional financial controller
  • Liaising with client and tenants
  • Preparation of statutory and monthly management accounts, cash and performance forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with group and general corporate governance
  • Lead on the implementation and improvement of operational and financial systems
  • Assist with local year end audits
  • Improve process currently in place to ensure efficiency.
  • Assisting with VAT
  • Payroll preparation and ledger entry
  • Cost control and vendor contract analysis
  • Dealing with audit requirements, being involved in the audit planning process and ensuring timelines are met
  • Mentoring actual and forecast ed spend against budget for the project

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) In English is must
  • A Qualified accountant is preferred (ACA,CIMA,ACCA or equivalent)
  • Understanding and practical knowledge of client monies procedures
  • Ability to translate fiance into concepts and presentations readily under stood by non –financial personnel
  • Excellent understanding of accounting process and procedures
  • Strong competence in excel , outlook , power point and word
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage several tasks at the same time
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
