Job Description
Software Development/Partner Software Project Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develop project scopes and objectives
- Develop detailed project plans
- Update and issue Actual against Forecast plan on weekly basis (in conjunction with gDi Partner Principal Project Management)
- Ensure any corrective action takes place required for Actuals vs Forecast within original (and amended) Project Plan(s)
- Update and issue Monthly Management (and internal detailed) Project Reports
- Schedule all: gDi Partner Project Staff Client visits; gDi Project Staff Client visits; Daily, Weekly, Monthly Project meetings
- Attend all Daily, Weekly, Monthly Project meetings and prepare accurate, comprehensive, efficient and effective minutes of the same
- Issue the MOM for the above in a timely fashion
- Schedule all: Client Project Staff training; Project: Tests (and Use Cases), Data Migration/Load; pre-Go Live Activities; post-Go Live Activities
- Ensure ALL Milestone Deliverables and Timeframes are consistently met
- Obtain Sign-off of all and each of the above from Client Project Management
- Interface with gDi Accounting staff for effective, accurate and timely invoicing of the above to Client Project Management
- Measure and present project team performance
- Issue weekly Project Reports
- Keep daily log of any Project Issues arising, report to gDi Management on a regular basis (and escalate as below if required)
- Escalate any issues to/from Client both internally, to gDi Partner Principals and to Client/project Management
- Monitor and ensure any Escalated Issues are dealt with in a timely manner
- Maintain continuous assessment of Scope of Work against actuals
- Prepare and Issue Change Scope Requirement Requests both internally and to Client Management
- Monitor and ensure completion against all Change Requests
- Monitor and maintain input to gDi First Level Help/Support Desk
- Evaluate and undertake front line, first level Help/Support Desk requirements with each and every Client/Project
- Maintain, and proactively create, FAQ list (with recommended answers/solutions/actions) for ongoing entry into gDi Partner Project Help/Support Desk
- Perform risk management assessments
- Establish and build relationships with third parties/vendors
- Self-Teach any gDi Partner Software fundamentals required
- Maintain and develop any internal gDi training requirements with any gDi Partner Principals
- Ensure above executed in a timely fashion
- Ensure effective and efficient Project Execution
- Ensure effective Final Close Out and sign-off of Project
- Maintain, List and Suggest any and all post-Go Live activities
- Solid IT/technical background with understanding in software development and technologies.
Job Requirements
Will Live And Work In KSA Saudi Arabia Riyadh
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)/PMI certificate is a must/preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic
