Software Testing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop excellently test cases for software tools and websites to verify product functionality according to user’s requirements.
• Develop and document requirements document/functional specifications, test cases and scenarios.
• Write clear and concise bug reports and scenarios to ensure clear communication with the software developer.
• Check program performance after implementation to prevent recurrence of program operating problems and ensure operational efficiency.
• Approve updates and development of the software tools and websites in order to ensure product efficiency.
• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests - functional, regression, load and stability testing.
• Test web services and APIs
• Prepare tractability matrix for the requirements documents
• Implement regression testing, functional & nonfunctional test types
• Previous Experience in testing both Web and Mobile applications.
• Report any UI/UX issues.
• Experience with automated testing tools & Performance test tools.
• Work with product managers and engineers to understand business requirements and perform appropriate testing.
• Map test cases to requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
• Report software defects and manage to life cycle closure.
• Report test progress and quality status to project stakeholders.
