Job Description

For our industrial group located in New Damietta.

About the Job
We are looking for accountants who are motivated to join an enthusiastic team of ambitious & creative professionals. The candidates typically oversee all finance & audit activities. As such (he / she) are expected to be able to undertake executive, supervisory, administrative, and operational responsibilities.


Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Make Cash positions daily.
  • Perform accounting direction.
  • Process all supplier invoices for the company purchases and credit notes for refunds.
  • Follow up on the AP and Treasury accountants' duties day to day.
  • Follow up on the cash in, cash out, and bank transactions.
  • Carries out monthly analysis of AP and supplier’s down payments.
  • Issues checks on the due date.
  • Records all the companies’ liabilities.
  • Ensures that tax is deducted from suppliers.
  • Carries responsibility for transfer accounts payable and general ledger module.
  • Prepares the required data for internal and External Auditors.
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts.
  • Compiles and sorts documents.
  • Installs and modifies documents and coordinates the implementation of the accounting system and accounting control procedures.
  • Checks and approves all vouchers for payments.
  • Performs the monthly bank reconciliation on a timely basis.
  • Checks vendor’s invoices vs. POs, goods /services receipts and processes vouchers for recording to the vendor account (3 Way matches).
  • Records and reconciles monthly payroll.
  • Keeps documents properly filed for easy reference.
  • Reconciles the vendors & clients’ accounts on a regular basis.
  • Controls Working Capital and overdraft balances at the budgeted level.
  • Performs other related duties.

Job Requirements

  • Education: B.Sc. of Commerce.
  • Job Experience: +5 years of experience in the same field.
  • Language: Excellent Command in English.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • ERP System User.
  • Time Management.
  • Good eye for details.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Good Knowledge of banking system and Tax Laws.
