Job Description

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Taking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Replacing parts as required.
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
  • Setting up necessary requirements to run internal workflow systems.
  • Working continuously on a task until completion.
  • Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
  • Design, install and configure internal servers, network devices and firewall.
  • Proactively manage and maintain servers, network and firewall.

Job Requirements

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proven working experience as a technical support.
  • Proven working experience in Network & System administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
  • Professional with Microsoft outlook and email services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Willingness to co-operate with others.
  • Multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Willing to work in branches environment.
