Job Description

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans and project schedules.
  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings and conference calls, facilitate and prepare meeting agenda and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Maintain and update project data in various mediums (hard copy, cloud drives, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Determining project changes.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.·
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Prepare and review schedules, project memos, correspondence, contracts and schedules for professional services; communicate daily with team.
  • In conjunction with Project Manager, prepare appropriate billings and pursue payment compliance.
  • Perform various support duties for Project Manager and team.
  • Providing administrative support as needed, and other duties as assigned.
  • Dedicate the necessary time beyond routine hours to assist in meeting business commitments.

Job Requirements

Candidates for this position are generally recent graduate architects (or engineers) who are seeking practical, hands-on experience in architecture, project management and/or construction. Working under the guidance of professional project managers and architects.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably architecture), with background in construction or related fields.
  • 3+ years professional work experience in an office environment working with and as part of a team, preferably in an architecture firm or construction company.
  • General understanding of Project Management methods and techniques. Project management (PMP) studies/course is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketchup a plus, but not required.
  • General understanding of building materials and methods.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage and delegate a multitude of tasks, assignments and changing priorities efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English is a must).
