Job Description
- Managing the Legal and Compliance function in Egypt.
- Assisting on matters of corporate housekeeping such as related to powers of attorney, shareholders’ meetings, board of directors and shareholding structures.
- Key point of external audit and inspections conducted from governmental and non-governmental bodies.
- Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
- Providing regulatory and compliance advice in conjunction with the Regulatory and Compliance with Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA)
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
- Assessment and rectifying the effectiveness of Internal Controls
- Represent the company before governmental bodies, Labor Offices, Courts, GAFI, EFSA and Police.
- Register and advice on matters of registering the intellectual property.
- Conduct annual Self Audit on our operations functions.
- Conduct frequent training to the business team in relation to legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
- Provide the company with different legal opinions for Engineering, Property, Fire business.
- Draft, review, advise and negotiate all types of contracts and business Agreements.
- Manage & Liaise with external counsels, if required.
Job Requirements
- Must have 10+ years of experience.
- Fluency in English language.
- Knowledge of Global Sanctions.
- Contract review business side.
- Connections with FRA “Financial Regulatory Authority”
- Litigation.
- Labor Exp & dealing with Law firms.
