Senior System Administrator

ITS is looking for dynamic, result oriented Senior System Administrator with minimum 5+ years System Administration experience, preferably in the Higher Education sector

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or a related subject.
• Relevant system administration certifications like MCSA/MCSE, MCITP-Microsoft Enterprise, Admin is preferable.
• CCNA certification Preferable
• VMware / Hyper-V Admin -Preferred
• Experience in system administration and security principles and best practices.
• Experience in MS Windows Servers, MS Active Directory, DNS,DHCP,Group Policy, etc.
• Proven work experience in implementing and supporting highly available setup for Microsoft Exchange 2010, Exchange 2016.
• Experience in virtualization (VMWare Vshpere, Xenserver, Hyper-v and Citrix Xenapp).
• Cisco and HP Blades .
• Knowledge in Storage infrastructure and data protection.
• Knowledge in Disaster Recovery.
• Knowledge in NLB, High Availability, and clustering concepts.
• Database structure and concepts.
• Knowledge in LAN/WAN protocols and network infrastructure.
• ITIL Foundation.
• Familiarity of Database - MSSQL.
• Soft skills ( time management , team work , High Communication Skills …)
• Available to work after working hours and/or weekends and on-call..
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
