Job Description
- Responsible for completing assigned tasks by team leader.
- Report to Quality TL on project status weekly and required resource.
- Complete assigned task within the deadlines.
- Supported, junior team members through their testing activities.
- Responsible to develop and implement enterprise testing methodologies and processes, monitor and direct projects conformance with established QA methodologies and processes, and ensure that automated test suites are prepared for all projects according to established standards.
- Represent the QC department in requirement reviews, product design, and planning meetings.
- Provide support business analysts on the team in their diagnosis of issues and provide remediation solutions.
- Responsible to formulate test plans.
- Review documents (Requirements Documents, Design Documents, User Guides and User Manuals).
- Responsible to Design, execute the test scenarios and test scripts.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure best achievable project quality.
- Create and update issues in the defect-tracking system.
- Analyzing and tracking bug count, closure rate, and rejection rate.
- Executing Acceptance Testing and On-Site Testing before Live Acceptance phase.
- Improve customer deliverable quality – UAT.
- Follow up and test defects after delivery.
- Preparing status reports during the project time and on closure.
- Expert on how to identify the severity of defects and the priority.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in Computer Science or Engineering with 4+ years Software Test experience (some web based application exp. preferred).
- Certified (ISTQB) Foundation Level or Software Tester (CSTE) is must.
- Certified (ISTQB) Advanced Level is preferred
- Increase the quality level of projects and report all logical defects.
- The acceptable limit for none-reported defects should not exceed 1%.
- Fully understanding test methodology, test tools Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager.
- Experience on handling project plans and deadline commitments in agile environment.
- Experience with two at least of automated test tools: Quick Test Pro, Load Runner, Win Runner and Visual Studio Testing Center.
- Software testing experience (including knowledge of software testing theory/techniques, and report writing).
- Experience in the different types of testing: Functional, Regression, Performance & Load.
- Good command of English either spoken or written.
