Job Description
What are my responsibilities?
- Reporting to Commercial Manager the position holder will be looking after the Procurement tasks related to maintenance commodities and tools.
- Adjusting of prospective suppliers and contractors pricing, quality and service
- Maintaining the data in the procurement systems (SAP and SLT System)
- Establishing objectives, policy standards and schedules to ensure quality and quantity requirements at the most efficient and delivery conditions
- Assuring on scheduled and automatically replenishment of consumables and spares prior to reach critical low levels (SAP MRP Function )
- Securing conformance of the procured material according the requirements/specifications
- Conducting of inspections for material manufactured by external contractors
- Evaluation of alternative suppliers
- Onshore and offshore parts
- Follow-up of the procurement process, monitoring and up keeping of procurement documents
- Responsible for the budget of spare parts and personnel used by his services
- Following the applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration and recognized qualification on similar projects with a minimum of six years of relevant experience in the designated professions, with preferable three or more years of relevant experience in the transport industry.
- Solid experience in the field of administration
- First managerial work experience
- Very good command of both the spoken and written English language
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of CMMS software
