Production Engineer

Main Job Duties:

• Identify areas for improvement in the CNC production processes and provide recommendations for implementation.
• Liaise with Procurement to provide technical specifications for material requirements for CNC production, e.g. bronze and brass bars, providing clear and precise information.
• Supervise the execution of CNC production orders and make sure that production schedule is achieved within established standards.
• Supervise the programming of CNC machines for production as per the required product specifications.
• Supervise the quality checks of produced items and make sure they adhere to established quality standards.
• Supervise the management of production waste and make sure that reasons for waste are identified and rectified.
• Liaise with Maintenance to conduct unplanned maintenance of CNC machinery so as to achieve minimum production downtime.
• Supervise the implementation of 5S standards across the CNC Section.
