Job Description

  • Manage and record all financial transactions.
  • Accountant responsibilities include bookkeeping, auditing financial documents, and procedures, reconciling bank statements, AP, AR. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping.
  • Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate information on the financial position, through the needed reports, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations and financial standards.
  • Bookkeeping and manage all accounting transactions, Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions.
  • Preparing financial reports on a regular basis (Daily situation, and Monthly reports).
  • Assist the Financial manager to implement and maintain suitable internal control system.
  • Conducting detailed analysis on the follow up reports generated from the database to ensure accuracy.
  • Reviewing the financial reports, match all accounts and making suitable correction for data entry.
  • Follow up cash flow by tracking transactions, forecast cash payments and preparing internal reports to anticipate challenges arising from limited cash flow.
  • Records Data entry and maintain Supervise financial transactions within the company to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded filed and reported, no discrepancies in reports and reconcile any identified discrepancies or errors.
  • Dealing with banks, Suppliers, Clients (In a matter of invoicing, collections, payments, and any financials issues).
  • Help finance manager in preparing budgets and track profit/loss performance.
  • Providing advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole.
  • Identify control weaknesses on current accounting procedures and made recommendations to improve accuracy of financial tracking and reporting.
  • Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure
  • Compiling and presenting reports, budgets Vs Actual, financial forecasting, commentaries and financial statements.
  • Analyzing accounts and business plans
  • Negotiating the terms of business deals and moves with clients and associated organizations
  • Communicate effectively with clients
  • Communicate with Manager on work status and client issues that arise

Job Requirements

  • From 3 to 5 years of experience
  • 4 years accounting experience, Minimum 1 Year as Financial Accountant.
  • Resident or Willing to relocate to Oman.
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals and contribute to company growth.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented, team collaboration.
