Job Description
- Installation and configuration of Standard desktop PC, Laptops, Tablets & Mobile devices.
- Set up and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Install and configure software’s.
- Configure basic Windows, AD Login for users and emails in MS Outlook
- Coordinate with Central Team for Installation of Network Devices (Switch/Firewall)
- Maintain inventory of all hardware and software resources
- Maintain excellent communication with all end users and other members of the technology department
- Coordinate with IT Vendors for procurement
- Prepare CAPEX & PO
- Coordinate with application PM for application login IDs/URLs
- Coordinate with central IS Team for security policy implementation
- To ensure all activities related to rollout are complete as per Checklist & signoff is completed
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience in setup, configuration, troubleshooting of desktop/notebook hardware and software (Windows OS/MAC OS will be an advantage)
- Microsoft Office 2007/2010
- Outlook 2007/2010
- Some knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc)
- Some knowledge of Active Directory concepts and administration
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using industry best practices and procedures
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to anticipate issues & resolve them during rollouts
- Communicate fluently verbally and in writing and can present complex technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets.
