Job Description

Exciting opportunity in Mondelēz International to join the Marketing team as a Senior Brand Manager, Biscuits Egypt &Levant based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for setting the commercial agenda of the Biscuits portfolio in Egypt. The role will develop and execute annual brand plans to achieve annual commercial goals. Main Responsibilities: Independently work on / Lead: Egypt & Levant Marketing Activation Calendar.

  • Plan & execute annual grid & big bets in liaison with Category Planning & Activation Teams, Sales Teams & Regional Category Teams.
  • Point of Sale (POSM) Designs & Implementation.
  • Consumer Promotion ideas & execution.
  • Sampling & Consumer contact initiatives (in-store & out of store).

Media Plans in Egypt & Levant.

  • Activate tactical media as per plan including liaison with Media Agency.
  • PCM Project Support – actively involved in PCM projects as the single point of contact from the category, develop PDRs, etc.
  • Advertising & Consumer Budgets Management for Egypt + Levant – responsible for A&C budget spends management & reporting, creating Purchase Orders & GRs and Spend Planning, etc.
  • Biscuits Portfolio Management – lead Biscuits Portfolio management in alignment with Category Team & help in Launches, source changes and pricing actions.
  • Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Process – participate in IBP Process of Egypt & Levant with relevant inputs in various forums as the category representative.
  • Achieving the Biscuits Contract, delivering on growth and profitability targets.
  • Develop marketing and activation plans that support brand and commercial objectives
  • Decide on the innovation funnel and lead any NPD projects.
  • Manage local agency relationships.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver the Biscuits brand objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a business/commercial related function.
  • At least 8 - 10 years experience in Brand Marketing.
  • FMCG experience preferred.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, including presentation and report writing.
  • Ability to manage projects and teams.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Effective analyitical skills to be able to summarise the situation and recommend actions e.g. market share fluctuations, sales forecast accuracy, identification of risks / opportunities.
