Job Description
Major Accountabilities:
- Analyze large account opportunities to increase volume, volume share and mail share.
- Coordinate and integrate business development, advertising, marketing and product management activities with account stakeholders and internal Mastercard contacts to identify new business opportunities and product ideas.
- Communicates and consults with client accounts regarding product knowledge and card industry knowledge.
- Analyze accounts through profitability modeling, financial forecasting, and competitive analysis.
- Implement long-term strategies and tactics for clients to increase profitability and market share over time.
- Deliver issuer and acquirer solutions which enhance mutual profitability.
- Support delivery of relevant market-wide and issuer-centric marketing strategies and sales targets for products/services sold against account aspirations and objectives.
- Negotiate win-win product and service agreements while demonstrating essential differentiated advantage versus competition.
- Collaborate with the customer to establish and execute annual business plans and quarterly review sessions to establish, monitor and report progress against joint objectives
- Negotiate, execute and manage the customer agreement process, ensuring global linkage of resources, experts, intellectual capital and information sharing
- Develop and implement sales plan designs to include business development, advertising, marketing and product management activities with customers, prospects and internal MasterCard contacts
- Develop relationship at retail banking leadership and senior levels beyond COO/CEO/CXO/CIO level and other influencers to engage a wider support structure within the bank and provide them with our view on various topics, solutions and otherwise.
