Job Description
Main Job responsibilities
- Write, edit and publish engaging posts for social media networks (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram)
- Optimize social media content (language, message, tone) based on the culture, nature and behavior of our target audiences.
- Guide production and graphics team to create appealing graphics and videos for complementing text
- Respond to comments and questions on corporate’s social media channels in a respectful and timely manner
- Network with readers as well as industry professionals and influencers
- Track and report on social media insights (e.g. traffic, engagement, conversion rates, shares etc.)
- Apply advertising techniques to increase brand awareness (e.g. promotions, competitions)
- Update company’s social media channels with the latest articles and news
- Coordinate with internal teams for creating advertising posts (e.g. for product releases, events, etc.)
Job Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism or a relevant field
- Prior experience as a Social Media Copywriter with a proven record in engaging posts
- Experience of working with MS Office. (fair experience in design software e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. is a plus)
- Experience with various social networks and platforms for advertisement purposes
- Past experience in the Gulf area social networks and copywriting is a plus
- Sound knowledge of keyword research, SEO and analytics tools, especially Google Analytics
- Ability to create innovative web content, supported by relevant images and videos
- Familiarity with the paid advertisement is a plus
- Proficiency in Arabic writing is a must
- Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
