Job Description

We are seeking to employ an Academic Coordinator who performs various tasks to ensure that teachers and curriculums meet performance standards.

Main Job Duties include:

Design Classroom Materials and Curriculums

  • The main duty of an Academic Coordinator is to help in the development and implementation of instructional materials and curriculum programs that will meet standards such Common Core State Standards for English & Math and Next Generation Science Standards for Science. This responsibility also includes implementing educational technology inside the classrooms.
  • They conduct staff training, assess educational materials, evaluate educational technologies and mentor new teachers to help them develop effective instructional methods and strategies.

Analyse student performance

  • Academic Coordinators assess student performance to determine in what ways instructional approaches need to be changed or modified.

Teachers Professional Development

  • Academic Coordinator will manage conferences and workshops, monitor teachers’ classrooms and review new curriculums and classroom materials with teachers individually or in group settings. An Academic Coordinator will also assess teacher performance and make suggestions for improvement.

Co-Curricular Activities Program

  • Academic Coordinator will develop and implement a program of co-curricular activities to provide different learning opportunities for the students

Job Requirements

  • He / She must be of 10+ years of experience in an American diplomat.
  • Understands goals and standards for various content areas.
  • Building teams – in many cases, Academic Coordinators will create materials and curriculums with the help of other academic staff members so it is important for them to be able to assemble and lead an effective team.
  • Designing training programs – Academic Coordinators often conduct professional development seminars, workshops and classes to help teachers develop instructional strategies.
  • Assessing educational materials – it is up to Academic Coordinators to evaluate and recommend textbooks, educational technologies and other educational tools to teachers and administrators.
