Job Description

  • Design, review, audit, test and deliver all User Interfaces (UI) wireframes /prototypes and designs for Internet website, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, ATMs, and any other product/service that has a human-computer interface that is customer-facing.
  • Producing and maintaining necessary design documentation including but not limited to wireframes, flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, business requirements documents (BRD), functional requirements document (FRD), concept story boards.
  • Develop and conduct usability focus groups and prototype testing to test design concepts.
  • Support Digital Marketing head in strategy and planning of design projects and activities in accordance to annual strategies and plans.
  • Designing and maintaining CIBs User Interface and User Experience digital guidelines including and not limited to visual design, user interface patterns, typography, layout best practices, layout responsiveness and widgets.
  • Support in managing and maintaining the content over the public and internal websites.
  • Manage agencies that support in front end design.
  • Sharing insights on customer behaviors and interactions with digital advertising and business needs and provide recommendation to increase visibility and usage of both external and internal websites.
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product and channel managers and technology.
  • Stay abreast of changing design methodologies and best practices such as design thinking customer journey design and UI/UX design concepts while closely monitoring, local and international competition, consumer trends, and research /measurement evolution and provide expertise internally to keep organization in the know.
  • Provide project plans from requirements gathering to testing and update progress reporting.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership with stakeholders to ensure meeting of business objectives.
  • Recommend improvements to all the above to ensure design is a landmark activity of being a customer-centric organization.

  • Ensure reporting and on-time escalation of issues in addition to recommending preventive and corrective actions.

  • Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Day to day Operations

  • Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Marketing to ensure continuity of work.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.

Job Requirements

  • From 1 To 5 Years
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Information Technology or a related field
  • For Designer: 3 - 5 years of experience
  • Understanding of banking and financial services industry globallyPrior experience working in a fast growing business in emerging markets

  • Excellent command of English & Arabic Languages
