Job Description

  • Preparing annual risk based audit plan for all technical and related areas in line with the risk assessment and laws, regulations, policies and standards governing the Internal Audit function.
  • Planning, leading, and performing technical and projects audit assignments
  • Developing, maintaining and updating necessary audit programs/checklists describing detailed steps/procedures that need to be carried out to achieve the technical audit objectives of projects and areas of operation.
  • Carryout independent appraisal of the design, implementation and operating effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, internal controls and risk management practices of the Company.
  • Review technical procedures and identify technical related business risks and recommend for improvement processes.
  • Develop and review quality progress reports on planned audits and implementation of corrective actions and maintain audit work papers and sufficient evidence for the reported findings.
  • Monitor, follow-up, update and maintain status of reported audits findings.
  • Utilize data mining and analysis techniques in the execution of audit work.
  • Ensure the adherence to Quality and HSE standards and standards and specification of the company.
  • Leading the independent audit of the technical operation and report non compliance to prevailing policies & procedures and make recommendations for correction/corrective action.
  • Monitoring/reporting the implementation of agreed action plans.
  • Planning and allocating resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of the technical audit team members and conduct periodical performance review of the staff.
  • Formulating professional development and educational plans for technical audit staff.

Job Requirements

  • Engineering degree from a reputable University and a related professional certification.
  • Experience in Construction projects with exposure to quality control, quality assurance, quantity survey and projects schedule and cost analysis and ISO audits.
  • Minimum 10 Years experience in related fields.
  • MSO and ERP.
  • Knowledge in applying internal audit, Quality standards – Health and Safety- Project management – industry policies & procedures, laws & regulations -
  • Great communication skills – problem solving skills – negotiation skills – team worker – hard worker
  • An Active Professional certificate in Engineering or auditing is preferable (i.e. PMP, CIA, Certified Lead Auditor)
