Job Description

  • Manages localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with internal business partners and external vendors and other departments.
  • Develops project plans and workflows, managing time, budget, resources and quality control.
  • Creates and controls localization project budgets, performs cost-tracking analysis, Issuing PO’s (payment orders) to the external resources.
  • Assigns, monitors and measures project team members’ work. Manages team’s compliance with standards, practices and policies.
  • Directing team’s deliveries to timelines and product quality, including responsiveness and professionalism towards both internal and external clients.
  • Leads project/client/business partner meetings and conference calls.
  • Presents regular reports to corporate office and peers on progress and forecast of project team’s work status, escalating issues and evaluating needed support.
  • Maximizes utilization of team, preparing alternative work for periods without projects.
  • Active member of corporate management meetings, providing data and project information.
  • Continually expands knowledge and education in localization trends and news.
  • Develops new and entry level through training and coaching opportunities and by creating methodologies, tools, and checklists to improve the project management process.
  • Ensure that our entire PM database are accurate and up to date.
  • Running a final Quality check on the deliverables before delivery according to the designed checklist.
  • Assuring the customer satisfaction throughout the whole project process and following up with daily/weekly progress reports or conference calls

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience directly related to project management (preferably in the localization industry).
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills, with the ability to clearly present the localization life cycle to clients.
  • Organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proven abilities in project planning, resource and risk management.
  • Excellent team building, coaching, and motivation skills.
  • Problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in translation memory tools (Trados, SDLX) are required.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
