Job Description

  • To improve GSD market position and achieve financial growth by building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, identifying potential vendors and suppliers, and maintaining extensive knowledge of market conditions.
  • Work closely with GSD sales team, products team, and others to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximizing revenues by reaching new customers, engaging them, and ultimately convert them into clients.
  • Help manage existing clients and ensure their satisfaction by periodically contacting them and presenting new products & services that meet their future needs.
  • Achieve targets and lead team to achieve team target.
  • Create joint go-to-market plans with vendors to maximize marketing and sales effectiveness.
  • BDM is the focal point of contact between GSD and new vendors.
  • Receive regular pipeline and sales status reports concerning new vendors to monitor performance.
  • Keep an eye on the competition (pricing / capabilities / weaknesses).
  • Arrange for required marketing events, technical sessions, and seminars for the products inside and outside the company.
  • Arrange for liaison with the customer's focal point, should the vendor ask for customer follow up and satisfaction report and inform sales and products teams before such action.
  • Identify areas for expansion and development
  • Work with management to identify and evaluate new markets, and develop new business strategies to achieve regional growth.
  • Conduct periodic status meeting with the Sales & Products teams to represent status, deviation and how to be back to original plan.
  • Have technical overview knowledge of the selected different products enhanced through attending (with products team) regular technical training sessions offered by the vendor.
  • Coordinate between the vendor, relevant managers, and sales team to help define strategies for the vendor products.
  • Consolidate and distribute a global company/vendor business plan.

Drive/work with the sales & products team for:

  • Generating sales leads, identify and evaluate new profitable business opportunities.
  • Identifying gaps in GSD products offering and negotiate representation agreements.
  • Efficiently retain periodic contact and relation with identified prospects and leads.
  • Product development, certification and support initiatives.
  • Initiate and complete proposals and presentation for new business opportunities
  • Educate potential customers on new areas of opportunities for our products.

Job Requirements

Personal Skills

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools.
  • Excellent communications, presentations and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent command of English language

    Technical Skills

    • MBA is a Plus
    • From 8-10 years experience with 3-4 years of them in sales.
    • Excellent sales skills
    • Existing customer exposure is essential.

    Education

    • BSc. in Engineering
