Job Description
- Reporting to the CFO, the Strategic Investment Analyst will be responsible for providing investment recommendations on enterprise software companies listed on all public markets around the world.
- You will be evaluating the companies, providing your analysis to the CFO and Chairman of the Board, driving decision and monitoring your investment performance, rather than just building models and spreadsheets like many hedge fund or banks expect you to do.
- You will have a team reporting to you that will be responsible for the initial financial analysis and review of publicly traded global companies. Your responsibility lies in prioritizing the identified opportunities through both financial and subjective lenses.
- Each week you will have a standing meeting with the CFO and Chairman of the Board to present your findings. Based on the analysis you provide, you will then assist in carrying out these multi-million dollar investments.
- The role will be hands on; you will develop and execute an investment plan for our company. You will take the output of expert research on global enterprise software companies, apply subjective analysis to rank the values of these companies, and then invest in the top-valued companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Building And Developing Investment Strategy
- Analyze financial spreadsheets on publicly-traded enterprise software companies
- Research and define investment strategy based on CFO/Chairman industry experience
- Review enterprise software investment proposals
- Construct a database of every enterprise software company globally
- Prioritize, Present, and Invest
- Apply subjective analysis to company value reports
- Prioritize investments based on both financial and subjective analysis
- Act as the lead in making investment decisions
- Weekly meetings with and present findings to CFO/Chairman
Job Requirements
- Must have a degree from a top 20 university
- Analytical coursework and finance background
- Experience in French/German preferred but not required

Total Compensation is US$100,000/year
