Job Description
- Managing and coordinating art-related events such as exhibitions
- Doing research about latest developments in Egypt’s art scene
- Initiating and managing an art portfolio and catalog database
- Reporting directly to business owner
- Coordinating logistics related to opening and maintaining the art gallery
- Act as a liaison between business owner/Garden of Art and clients
- Assist with organizing workshops and art-related events
- Run errands (within Cairo) on behalf of Garden of Art (e.g. delivering and collecting paintings, printing brochures and leaflets etc.) if required
Please note that the position advertised is part-time, typically 3 days per week.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Arabic and English
- Excellent communication skills
- Resident in Sheikh Zayed/6th October area
- Ability to multi-task and organize time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Experience in any graphic-design related software is a plus
- Knowledge of the arts scene is encouraged
- Any applicant with previous experience in art/design/media or closely related fields is encouraged to apply
- Bsc. in Fine arts are preferable.
