Job Description:
- Design and develop stable, reliable, and effective databases
- Schema design, code review, SQL query tuning
- Upgrade, modify, improve database schema, and perform data tests according to requests
- Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
- Coordinate with developers to improve applications databases and establish best practices
- Develop technical documentations and/or manuals for database design and operation
- Research and suggest new database trends, services, and protocols
- Support DBAs in database administration and maintenance as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with DBMS and Microsoft SQL Server in particular
- 5+ years of experience in administering, managing and tuning databases
- Very Good understanding of database schema standards and concepts
- Excellent working experience in database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Expert level in SQL and writing optimized SQL Queries
- Knowledge of SDLC and user-centric web applications with the ability to understand front-end user requirements
- Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML and SQL Server
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and self-organized team concepts
- Teamwork skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to details
- Excellent communication skills
