Job Description
- Continuing and finalizing with electrical consumers already defined from data sheet of workshop equipment provided by Workshop Team to update the Workshop Equipment Consumer List (note that the document is closed only if all data sheets of all the consumers are validated).
- Liaise with Workshop Equipment Team to finalize the Workshop Power Sockets List already defined. The sockets (welding sockets, 3-phase sockets) required for a certain number of workshop equipment, shall be supplied from Sub Distribution Boards provided by other Group (Civil)
- Identification of power supply for sockets dedicated for workshop which are covered partially or not covered by Civil in order to add in their Sub Distribution Panel-boards
- Perform the cable routing/cable tray layout for all cable feeders to workshop equipment such as:
- From main LV switchboards to Intermediate Cabinets,
- From Intermediate Panels to workshop equipment via Electrical Cabinet or directly to workshop consumers ,
- From workshop equipment Electrical Cabinets to its own consumers (workshop package), in this case, cable supply by workshop equipment supplier – to be checked with workshop equipment team,
- Perform the cable list for all power feeders as well as control cables inclusive cables provided by workshop equipment suppliers,
- Material take-off (MTO) for cable, cable trays, bulk material
- Working with PS team
- Interfacing with Workshop Equipment Team,
- Interfacing with Civil (Electrical team) in charge of Main distribution / Lighting / Power Panel Boards if applicable,
- Field engineering in due time and manage the modifications affected by the changes of power supply cable feeders (area cable cross section or modifications or additional workshop equipment)
Job Requirements
You are an Electrical Engineer or experienced Electrical Design with 9-year experience minimum in an Electrical Engineering in Engineering firm or Design office at a Construction Contractor, familiar with:
- MV switchgear and power transformers MV/LV distribution
- LV switchgear (switchboards and sub-distribution boards)
- Design of LV electrical distribution from Main LV switchboard to sub distribution for power, lighting and small power.
- Sizing of LV cables using excel – using software is a plus
- Consumer List, Power balance, Cable List
- Specifications and technical drawings
- Using Autocad
- Using excel, word,
- Speak and write English
