Job Description

  • Contact customers (via telephone and email) to coordinate installation services within 24 hours of project assignment
  • Operates as the primary point of contact for questions from internal/ external customers, and fields inquiries regarding project status or project escalations
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at different stages of completion
  • Ensure accurate project documentation is recorded and timely communication/updates provided to all relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to comprehend the installation Statement of Service sold and articulate the service description/ project to the customer
  • Supports administrative activities for the team: project assignment, scheduling tool management, time and attendance, etc.
  • Maintains a consistent focus on the Customer Experience.
  • Relationship builder with internal and external partners
  • Proactively identifies potential issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Identifies opportunities for growth and innovation and facilitates internal process improvement.
  • Builds and sustains effective communications with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an effort to maximize the customer experience.
  • Conduct periodic follow ups (internally and externally) to ensure project is on track and conduct post-project evaluations
  • Works with Sales to increase Dell footprint within customer
  • Consistently provide excellent customer experience
  • A strong understanding and ability to gain knowledge of Dell’s hardware and installation offers; Proven ability to learn and manage technical solution (compute, storage, network, and software) requirements in the construction and ongoing delivery of engagements
  • Efficient use of Dell systems, tools and applications to coordinate and schedule appointments
  • Maintain a constant focus on cost management and revenue attainment

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • English plus an additional European language , either German or French.
  • Efective at facilitating communication among team members with varied cultures, backgrounds, and areas of expertise
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Ability to successfully reach project objectives and milestones while remaining within budget constraints
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a large workload efficiently
  • Coordinates/facilitates communications between client and key resources on the project team
  • Ability to think independently and apply effective problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills; Proficient in working with customers and being an external representative.
  • Ability to provide management with clear and concise performance updates
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize time and resources to meet customer service requirements
  • Consistently project a positive and professional image

Desirable Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2- 5 years relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in technical project management, including at least 1 year in the deployment of infrastructure projects for medium-to-large size enterprise data centers
  • Familiarity with professional services software delivery and deployment processes
  • itil / PMP or other industry recognised project management type certification
