Job Description
- Responsible for the development, customization and support of R12 Oracle EBS suite applications.
- Design, build, customize and support Oracle EBS for finance, sales and supply chain modules.
- Build custom solutions including forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows, OAF extensions/customizations and personalization in line with Oracle’s recommended standards.
- Review requirements documents, propose and design solutions, estimate efforts, create technical designs, deployment and other required documents in line with the corporate standards and processes.
- Provide production support, documentation and deliver onto ad-hoc requests.
- Develop appropriate test scenarios and scripts as needed.
- Perform setup and configuration for development and support activities as needed.
- Proactively eliminate potential risks.
- Engage in periodic services disaster recovery drills to ensure that all applications are up-to-date.
- Respond to and resolve production incidents promptly and effectively.
- Assist other infrastructure/development teams in resolving issues.
- Provide L3 support for local/regional operation teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in designing, building, customizing and supporting different objects for Oracle EBS R12.
- Proven ability to design, deliver and support complex hybrid solutions involving EBS and peripheral systems.
- Good technical skills in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, Reports, Forms, XML/BI Publisher, JDeveloper, OAF Customizations, Extensions, Workflows, ISG and other tool sets needed to support Oracle EBS.
- Techno-functional knowledge in Oracle Financial, Sales and Supply Chain modules.
- Working knowledge of Java is a plus.
- Stays current with latest trends in related technology.
- Good command of Arabic and English.
- Good communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
- Able to build partnerships and work well in teams
- Capable of making timely decisions and anticipating consequences.
- Can identify, recommend and implement solutions for problems.
