Job Description
- Ensure accounting records are accurate and comply with laws and regulations
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures
- Assess financial operations and make best-practices recommendations to management
- Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits
- Perform a full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
- Review & Approve payment vouchers & journal entries.
- Perform accounts analysis and reporting to management.
- Provide guidance to other Accountants.
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the setup.
- Prepare all type of taxation reports such as tax income, sales taxation, Zakat owed, etc...
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions
- Responsible for day to day finance and Examine financial statements accounts operations
- Advising and assisting the Management in the compilation and control of school budget
- Co-operate with internal and external auditing team
- Perform others duties as needed
Job Requirements
- Sc Degree in Accounting
- 6-8 years of experience from it Minimum of 3 years of experience as a chief accountant at a large-scale or multinational school
- Ability to communicate well, good presentation, fluent in both English and Arabic
- Relevant experience in audit and costing is advantageous
- Ability to work in a multicultural diverse environment and under pressure
