Job Description
The Duties of Document Controller: -
General: -
- File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.
- Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date.
- Manage the processes around documentation within the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
Specific needs in the Technical Office work: -
- The Documentation Filing for all disciplines in all buildings in all steps of technical teamwork: pre-design, design stage, submittal, and approval of the Consultant, Shop drawings, as-built Stage.
- The documentation for all RFI, Change Orders, Thales Offer in each project (with the same filing system).
- The Documentation for all Contracts for Sub-Contractors and Sub-Consultants.
- Prepare the Log for each item of the Above mentioned and share it with Thales Spain for review every scheduled time.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
There are no official qualifications that are required to become a document controller, however, the following are recommended;
- Achieved National vocational qualifications.
- Strong IT skills in MS office.
- Good attention to detail.
- Highly organized.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to multitask.
- Proficient typing skills.
- Minute taking.
- English is Fluent as a must.
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in the same position.
