Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site civil engineering activities to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and recommendations.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents for accuracy and feasibility.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with local building codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and address any unforeseen site challenges or discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols on site.
- Support the preparation of project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built records.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of proven experience in civil site engineering .
- Strong knowledge of wastewater projects.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and project specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with site safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by project demands.
