Job Description
- Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality medical textiles and garments.
- Monitor print quality throughout production runs, making necessary adjustments to ensure color consistency and registration accuracy.
- Prepare printing plates, inks, and substrates according to job specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on flexographic presses to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to meet strict hygiene and quality requirements for medical clothing.
- Document production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities accurately for traceability and compliance.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring all printed items meet company and regulatory standards.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols and cleanliness procedures in the printing area.
- Assist in training junior technicians and operators on flexographic printing processes and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and print quality.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating flexographic printing machines, preferably in a medical or textile manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in setting up, adjusting, and maintaining flexographic presses.
- Strong understanding of color theory, ink mixing, and print registration techniques.
- Familiarity with safety and hygiene standards relevant to medical garment production.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, job orders, and quality specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing defect-free products.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Flexibility to work full-time, under onsite (on-premises) arrangements.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
