Job Description

Purpose Job :-

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to buy products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations.

You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.

For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.

Ultimately, you’ll create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.

  • Prepares and updates an accurate registry for all the possible vendors (Suppliers/ Contractors) depending on  the company registry policy and selection criteria for accepted/ Approved vendors.
  • Prepares the price offers inquiry form based on the approved submitted requisition orders.
  • Compares and evaluates offers from suppliers.
  • Negotiates contract terms of agreement and pricing.
  • Tracks orders and ensures timely delivery.
  • Reviews quality of purchased products.
  • Coordinates with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
  • Holds negotiations with all potential suppliers regarding (discounts, payment method, time of delivery etc.) and submits a detailed report to the purchasing manager to proceed.
  • Follows up on requisition orders status (approved, and delayed) and submits an updated follow up report.
  • Follows up on supply orders status in terms of (delivery period and exact date, payment method, etc.)
  • Keeps track of the due invoices (paid and delayed) and follows up with the finance department, and suppliers, to identify the reason of delay and submits a report with critical cases to advice on the proper action.

Job Requirements

  • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Must have previous experience in Construction field.
  • Males preferred
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent command of English & MS Office Program.
  • Must be punctual, organized, motivated and detail-oriented, multitasking.
  • High self-motivated and the ability to perform with minimum supervision, as well as within a team.
