Job Purpose:
- Responsible for the safe, efficient, cost-effective and timely delivery of Tubular Inspection Services, while controlling division profit and loss. The operations manager will also be responsible for safety, and quality of services, assisting with invoicing, shop repairs, and promoting inspection services.
Job Description:
- Coordinates all aspects of the Operations, planning, scheduling, prioritizing jobs, and managing of any conflicts that may arise.
- Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and procurement to ensure stable operations.
- Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
- Determines and plans labor needs to meet Operation objectives.
- Assists with budget preparation for Operations Department.
- Assists with, or prepares and updates, the organization’s operations manual and policies.
Provides operational and profitability inputs related to tenders & proposals preparation,as assigned - Exercises cost operational controls to ensure efficiency & effectiveness
- Determines and provides the material, equipment, and resources required for custom orders.
- Acts as the primary Sites point of contact for customers. Coordinates and reports on Operations progress internally and externally.
- Coordinates equipment maintenance, schedules, and activities.
- Ensures revenue and expenses are in-line with a budget.
- Responsible for monthly forecasting and reporting of monthly financials.
- Approves purchases within the defined authority limits.
- Reviews and approves invoices.
- Maintains customer service standards & ensures customer satisfaction Level
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Responsible for Sites and employee compliance to all HR/HSE/Quality policies and procedures
- Hiring and training individuals for each position under operations authority.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably (Engineering).
- English Language (Very Good or Excellent).
- Certified MT, PT, VT, UT, RT.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas field.
- Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
- Budgeting and forecasting Experience.
- Familiarity with business and financial principles.
