Job Description
- Define and implement the design vision, standards, and guidelines aligned with the company’s brand and real estate strategy.
- Lead design management across all project stages: concept, schematic, design development, tender, and construction documentation.
- Evaluate, select, and manage design consultants to ensure high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective outcomes.
- Coordinate design meetings and approvals between internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee design deliverables, value engineering, and design change management to balance aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and budget.
- Collaborate with project management, development, construction, leasing, and operations teams to align designs with business needs and execution feasibility.
- Mentor and develop junior design managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration and design excellence.
- Integrate sustainability, wellness, and innovative solutions into design processes, staying ahead of trends, technologies, and materials.
- Monitor quality control, risk, and budget compliance for all design initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering.
- 10+ years of design management experience in real estate, hospitality, retail, or mixed-use development projects.
- Strong understanding of project delivery processes, codes, and standards.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and design-related software.
- Ability to drive innovation, ensure quality, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
